Selma Blair posted $20,000 in cash bail on Monday after a judge in Queens Criminal Court set the amount for two counts of second-degree assault. The actress was arrested on Oct. 11 following an altercation on a Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles to New York.

Port Authority police responded to the gate at John F. Kennedy International Airport after staff reported a physically aggressive passenger. Two flight attendants reported injuries. One attendant was transported to a hospital for evaluation. Dispatch audio cited by media outlets mentioned a bloody nose and bite marks.

Blair addressed the incident in an Instagram video released Friday. She said her lawyers advised her to remain quiet while the legal case is ongoing. In the video, she told followers she never intended to hurt or frighten anyone. She apologized to those she disappointed or alarmed and thanked fans for their support for her and her son.

Charging documents detail events that occurred after the initial report on the plane. Blair allegedly kicked a police officer in the face, neck, and chest while being secured to a stretcher. She was then transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. There, she allegedly kicked a nurse in the chest. A representative for Blair told media outlets the actress experienced a medical emergency that led to the behavior.

The judge set bail at $20,000 cash or a $60,000 bond. Blair is scheduled to return to court in January. She said in the video that she will focus on her health and her son moving forward.
