Minnesota high school soccer concluded its quarterfinal round on Tuesday as three teams punched their tickets to the state semifinals. The results set the stage for the next round of competition, scheduled for Nov. 5.

Lakeville North dominated its Class 3A matchup against Alexandria, winning 7-0. The top-seeded Panthers took control early. Junior forward Ally Pluta opened the scoring and finished with two goals. Senior forward Brynn Koehnen provided the bulk of the offense, scoring four times. All four of Koehnen's goals came in the first half, giving the Panthers a 5-0 lead before the break.

The Panthers will face the winner of the Stillwater and Mounds View quarterfinal, which is set for Thursday. That semifinal match is scheduled for 8 a.m. on Nov. 5 in Minneapolis.

In Class 2A, fourth-seeded Mahtomedi defeated Mankato East 2-0. Junior Adalyn Beulke scored both goals. Her first came shortly after kickoff. Teammate Lola Dambowy won a header from a goal kick and passed Beulke just outside the box. Beulke shot the ball under the crossbar to take the lead. She added a second goal in the second half to secure the win.

Mahtomedi will play top-seeded Blake, who advanced by beating Cloquet 7-0 on Tuesday. The semifinal is set for 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 5 at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Second-seeded Watertown-Mayer advanced in Class A after defeating St. Paul Academy 1-0 in a 5-4 shootout. Eighth-grader Addison Johnsrud converted the final attempt to win the match. The Spartans will face Breck in the semifinals next week.
