Mark Jobe completed his second installment of a biblical teaching series on October 29, 2026. The session, titled "What It Means to Restore Our God-Given ID," addressed the concept of renewing the mind through the book of Colossians. Jobe argued that spiritual change requires discarding old attitudes rather than relying on previous habits to overcome new ones.

The teaching aired on BOLD STEPS, a program produced by Moody Global Media. The organization is affiliated with Moody Bible Institute. Jobe serves as the Bible teacher for the show and is a former president of the institute. He currently leads New Life Community Church, a multi-campus organization with more than 25 locations in Chicago.

During the broadcast, Jobe focused on practical steps for believers. He advised listeners to put on a new self and declare God's perspective on their lives each day. The message emphasized the power of God's Word to transform lives and offered a path toward authenticity in Christ.

The program also promoted a gift for listeners titled "The Church In Babylon: Heeding the Call to Be a Light in the Darkness." The book is authored by Erwin Lutzer and Ed Stetzer. Moody Global Media holds the copyright for the 2026 broadcast content.

Jobe founded New Life Centers, an initiative that serves thousands of at-risk youth throughout the Chicago area. He shares his ministry and life with his wife, Dee. The series marks the end of his recent teaching cycle on Colossians 3.
